Heartland Prowl
The Heartland Prowl is Highlands County's very own professional basketball franchise in the American Basketball Association. We provide professional basketball entertainment comparable to many international and NBA teams at a fraction of the cost to the consumer. We are members of the Southeast Division and host our home games at Panther Gymnasium on the beautiful campus of South Florida Community College in Avon Park, FL.
The decision was made to represent "Heartland" rather than simply Highlands County or one of its cities because we set out to focus on inclusiveness, drawing all the members of our surrounding communities together.
The inaugural seasons begins December 1st so we are inviting everyone out to share in the unique opportunity to experience pro basketball in their own background. Game Time is Show Time!
